The government’s innovation and research strategy launched last year is not working. Ideas, credit and resources are not flowing with the speed, scale and energy to achieve a long-term UK recovery. As part of the debate, the Big Innovation Centre will demonstrate how traditional state intervention models could be replaced by a new ‘ecosystem’ approach.
